HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — Three teens have been charged and arrested in connection with the murder of a Marine veteran in northwest Harris County, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
On Thursday, the sheriff said that the three teens were each charged in connection with the shooting death of 28-year-old Quoc “Jake” Nguyen, who was found dead on the 13700 block of Lakewood Forest on Sept. 4.
Authorities say that the first suspect is a 15-year-old boy, who was charged with capital murder and arrested on Oct. 9. The other two suspects, a 13-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy, were both charged with tampering with evidence and arrested on Oct. 16.
All three teens have been booked into the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center.
