HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Houston police are asking for help solving a crime at an apartment complex the City of Houston alleges is a nuisance.
In April, the City of Houston filed a nuisance lawsuit against Meyerland apartment complex, The Life at Jackson Square, and its owners, citing what they allege is a pattern of crime.
The property denied the allegations. The case is ongoing and due back in court in July 2026.
This week, Houston police released surveillance video of a robbery that occurred inside an apartment unit on the property on Aug. 26.
The video, recorded around 11:15 p.m., shows two suspects walking into an apartment and beginning to collect valuables, including a flat-screen television. Video shows the apartment’s two tenants walking in on the crime, and then shows the suspect assaulting the suspects.
The police department is asking for help identifying the suspects.
