HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — An investigation is underway after a student was hospitalized after being hit by a car in north Harris County, according to Aldine ISD.
The district said that the auto-pedestrian accident occurred on Hill Road on Thursday evening, after the student had been safely dropped off by a school bus.
First responders arrived and transported the student to a nearby hospital, the district said. At this time, there is no word on the student’s condition.
Harris County Sheriff’s deputies were at the scene, and the Aldine ISD Police Department is conducting an investigation.
Details remain unclear if the driver will face any charges at this time.
