HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A man was injured Sunday morning in a shooting that involved an officer in Houston’s northeast side, according to police.
According to the Houston Police Department, it received a call at about 7:57 a.m. about a person firing a weapon in the backyard in the 5800 block of Hartwick.
Officers arrived at the scene, and shots were fired. HPD said the suspect was down, but his condition was unknown.
Police added that three men were detained at the scene, but it’s unclear what their role is in the incident.
No officers were injured, and an investigation is ongoing.
