RICHMOND, Texas (KTRK) — Randle Lions are undefeated so far this season.
Head coach Brian Randall is getting major contributions from senior and TCU commit Noriel “Pac Man” Dominguez and junior running back Landon Williams-Callis.
“When it’s gametime, I don’t really like to talk,” Williams-Callis said. “I like to stay locked in on my game and do what I do.”
Landon has over 60 offers, and he’s done a lot. He has run for over 5,200 yards so far in just two and a half years, which is rare.
“I’m having a lot of fun this game is all about fun,” he said. “If you’re not having fun, I don’t think the game is for you.”
It’s also fun for “Pac Man,” who is leading the team in tackles with the mindset of a winner.
“The championship ring represents discipline, hard work, and leadership. Waking up every morning at 5:30 a.m. to get the practice,” Dominguez said.
During their bye week last week, Landon and “Pac Man” were with their coach and teammates at Wright Junior High, sharing that winning mentality to future lions on nutrition, education, and life.
“Respect your teachers,” Dominguez said. “Understand they might get hard on you and stuff like that, they might call your parents or stuff like that, but for the better of you to make sure that you get to where you need to get to.”
“Eat vegetables, fruit, drink water, stay hydrated, stuff like that,” Williams-Callis said. “You know, chicken and rice, you can eat a couple of snacks only now and then.”
It is great to see these guys giving back to make their community stronger.
