Kim Kardashian, Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash-Betts, Glenn Close and Naomi Watts talk about their new series ‘All’s Fair’

All rise and order in the court! “All’s Fair” is about to become the newest TV obsession.

The Hulu series created by Ryan Murphy is a legal drama centered around a group of divorce lawyers who leave a male-dominated firm to start their own all-female practice. It stars Kim Kardashian (“Allura Grant”), Sarah Paulson (“Carrington Lane”), Niecy Nash-Betts (“Emerald Greene”), Glenn Close (“Dina Standish”), Teyana Taylor (“Milan”) and Naomi Watts (“Liberty Ronson”).

“It’s such a great central plotline of this team of women trying to help broken women come back to the best version of themselves,” Watts told On The Red Carpet. “Divorce can be ugly and messy and it’s all about bringing them back to their strength.”

“I’m playing a true villain but a villain with a real broken heart,” said Paulson. “What I can tell you about Carrington Lane is that I have the best name on television and maybe it’s not a small thing that it sounds like Joan Collins’ character from ‘Dynasty.'”

While Paulson drew some inspiration from an iconic TV nemesis, Kardashian looked to someone in her real life to help shape her character.

“Allura Grant is just a really strong, bad-ass woman. I kinda modeled the character after Laura Wasser. She’s a divorce attorney. She has been mine,” she said.

“My character, Dina Standish, she’s the one that has trained these women. She’s been their mentor and loves them,” said Glenn Close.

Teyana Taylor plays an aspiring lawyer at the firm.

“Milan is the baby of the group,” Taylor said. “What I love is how the women show up for her and understanding how wicked of a game that type of industry can be.”

What the entire cast found was a special bond.

“I took away sisters because we support each other on camera and off. We are all up in each other’s business and we genuinely love and care for each other,” said Nash-Betts.

Matthew Noszka is one of the few males in the main cast.

“Working with all these incredible talents, they were so welcoming,” he said. “To work with them and be on set and see how they operate. I’ve learned so much. I’m blessed to be part of this cast.”

“All’s Fair” boasts an all-star roster of special guests including Judith Light, Elizabeth Berkley, James Remar, Rick Springfield and Jessica Simpson.

“My character has a lot of everything. Her character arc is vulnerable. I got to do wild and crazy things like four hours of prosthetics, stuff you’ve never seen me do, and I didn’t even know it was possible I could do,” Simpson said.

The first three episodes of “All’s Fair” stream November 4 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+. New episodes will drop every Tuesday.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Hulu and this ABC station.
