HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Investigators are working to figure out what led up to a deadly shooting Thursday night in northwest Harris County.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies were called out to Rosbrook Drive around 11:15 p.m.
Investigators said that is where a car was found riddled with bullet holes.
It is believed the shooting happened near the intersection of Veterans Memorial and Antoine, and investigators believe from there, those involved drove themselves to the neighborhood.
The age range is between 18 and 22 years old for the two victims. “At this point, there is no threat to the community; it’s an isolated incident, and we are still in the early stages of investigation. We haven’t reviewed any surveillance video, but we will be canvassing the area,” Sgt. Sofia Silva said.
HCSO said it is reported that one of the young men involved died at the hospital, and the other is recovering, but the extent of his injuries is unclear.
Investigators said what led up to the shooting is unknown, but they are speaking with witnesses on the matter.
