HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A homicide investigation is underway after a man was allegedly shot and killed by his friend at a mobile home on Saturday morning, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said.
The incident was reported around 2 a.m. at the 200 block of West Canino Drive, which appears to be a trailer home park, HCSO said.
Deputies say they found a 41-year-old man shot to death inside the home, along with two others who were not injured.
According to Sgt. Greg Pinkins, the suspected shooter was a friend of the victim and had lived at the residence on and off. They said they believe the two witnesses inside the home were related to the suspected shooter but not to the deceased man.
Pinkins said the shooter is not in custody and a homicide investigation is underway.
