HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A woman is accused of killing a man at a bar he owned in west Harris County overnight.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a shooting at a bar along the Katy Freeway and found the owner of the bar had been shot.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez identified the bar owner as 48-year-old Hussein Ali, who he says was taken to the hospital, where he died.
The sheriff said the alleged shooter, Latocha Muckleroy, was still at the scene and arrested.
Muckleroy was booked into the Harris County Jail and charged with the man’s murder, Gonzalez said.
According to the sheriff, Ali and Muckleroy had a previous dating relationship.
The motive for the shooting or what exactly transpired is still unclear.
