HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Sarah Paulson is an Emmy winner, a Tony winner and now she’s the latest star to join the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Paulson is best known for her many roles on television, especially for her 20 pairings with famed writer Ryan Murphy. Besides nearly a hundred episodes playing various characters in Murphy’s “American Horror Story” franchise, she’s currently starring in his latest show, “All’s Fair.”
“Sarah the Magnificent can play anything,” Murphy said during the Tuesday’s ceremony. “She can be anything or anyone.”
Paulson’s longtime friend, actress Amanda Peet, also took to the podium to celebrate her friend.
“The little girl from Tampa with magazine cutouts of stars on her wall became a star herself,” Peet said.
Paulson’s partner, actress Holland Taylor, also addressed the crowd.
“Her acting is as honest as a vow of faith and as complicated as chemistry,” she said.
After the ceremony, Paulson told ABC7: “It’s a little out-of-body to sit there and be forced to listen to everybody say nice things about you and to talk about your work in a way that feels full of reverence.”
“It’s just a little dizzying but I’m trying to take it all in,” she added.
Paulson’s star is right next to Murphy’s on Hollywood Boulevard near Hudson Avenue.
