Houston man hit by car after pepper spray attack, police searching for two drivers

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — The Houston Police Department is working to identify and find two drivers after a man was first pepper sprayed and then hit by a vehicle.

HPD said the initial incident occurred around 2:40 a.m. on June 18 near Crocker St. at Fairview St. in the Montrose area Houston, TX 77006, HPD said. The driver of a dark-colored Kia Soul pepper sprayed Mark Michel and drove off.

Michel couldn’t see, fell into the street and was hit by a different vehicle, according to police. This happened in the 700 block of Fairview. The second vehicle is described as a red Ford Focus.
