SUGAR LAND, Texas (KTRK) — The Sugar Land Police Department says a plastic surgeon is behind bars after allegedly operating on someone while intoxicated.
According to the department, a Fort Bend County grand jury returned an indictment for Azul Shirazali Jaffer, charging him with performing surgery while intoxicated.
Sugar Land PD said officers arrested Jaffer following his indictment on Monday.
Police said he was booked into the Fort Bend County Jail.
