FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A woman has been arrested following a wrong-way crash that killed three family members and left one child critically injured, according to authorities.
The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office said they have arrested 27-year-old Majesti Faith Lee. She is charged with intoxication manslaughter, enhanced to a first-degree felony, along with one count of intoxication assault.
ABC13 covered the initial story of the crash, which occurred at about 2 a.m on Dec. 20 in the 11400 block of South Highway 99, according to officials.

FBCSO said a family from Harris County was driving on the Grand Parkway when their car was struck by a driver driving the wrong way.
Investigators revealed on Monday that 27-year-old Lizbeth Rodriguez Contreras, 26-year-old Diego Pena Jr, and 5-year-old Camila Pena all died as a result of the crash, leaving an unnamed 3-year-old as the sole survivor.
Lee, who was allegedly driving the other vehicle, was taken by LifeFlight and treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to officials.
Investigators determined alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash.
“Our hearts are with the family as they endure an unimaginable loss,” said Fort Bend County Sheriff Eric Fagan. “This tragedy is a painful reminder of how quickly lives can be changed when impaired driving occurs, and why making responsible choices behind the wheel is so critical.”
According to records, Lee had been charged with DWI in Harris County in September 2023. The charge was dismissed in May 2024 due to “insufficient evidence of defendant’s guilt,” the records show.
Lee’s bond has been set at $1,050,000, according to FBCSO.
