HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Police say a 7-year-old boy is dead after he was hit by a car in southeast Houston on Thanksgiving morning.
The Houston Fire Department confirmed the incident happened along Willow Glen Drive at about 11:35 a.m.
A spokesperson with the Houston Police Department said the young boy was riding a bike when he was hit by a driver, who reportedly stayed at the scene.
Authorities said the driver of a Ford pickup was driving westbound on Willow Glen when the incident happened.
Police said the driver showed no signs of impairment at the scene, but an investigation continues into the case.
