According to the Houston Police Department, the incident happened early Saturday morning on Vandalia Way near Anderson Road just inside the Beltway.
Asst. Chief Yasar Bashir said what began as an argument between two or three people led to a shooting that left six people shot.

While no weapons were recovered, one person was detained at the scene, Bashir said. Police described that person as a possible person of interest.
