HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Heads up, H-Town! We now know which countries will be coming to Houston for the group stage matches of the 2026 World Cup.
FIFA released the following schedule on Saturday morning:
- June 14: Germany vs. Curacao
- June 17: Portugal vs. TBD*
- June 20: Netherlands vs. TBD*
*Opponents are to be determined based on a playoff that will be held in March.
- June 23: Portugal vs. Uzbekistan
- June 26: Cabo Verde vs. Saudi Arabia

Houston also hosts a Round of 32 match and a Round of 16 match.
All matches will be played at NRG Stadium.
The next random selection draw for fans to buy tickets opens on Thursday, Dec. 11.

The World Cup draw began Friday with U.S. President Donald Trump, Mexico President Claudia Sheinbaum and Canada Prime Minister Mark Carney selecting the balls of their own countries.
