HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A west Houston apartment complex went up in flames Wednesday with people trapped inside, according to the Houston Fire Department.
Firefighters were called shortly after 8:30 a.m. to the 11200 block of Olympia Drive for an apartment complex fire, HFD said.
HFD Public Information Officer Brent Taylor said there were reports of persons trapped inside the building, but there’s no information on rescue efforts yet.
It was not immediately clear how many buildings were on fire or whether there were any reported injuries.
