The Gracies recognize and celebrate the impact women have made in the media industry, and aim to embolden other female leaders.
Journalist Katie Couric was given the Icon Award.
Among the other honorees were leaders in television, music, production, and news, including Rita Ferro, the president of Global Advertising for the Walt Disney Company.
Disney is the parent company of ABC Owned Television Stations.
