SPRING, Texas (KTRK) — A Spring family is pleading for information in the death of a Klein Collins High School student.
According to officials, 18-year-old Michael Spivey was killed in his room the day after Christmas.
Harris County investigators are still waiting on results of an autopsy.
“You have to protect your babies,” his mother, Vanessa Garcia, said. “Not even in their own room, they’re safe.”
Garcia said there were no signs of struggle or forced entry in her home.
Detectives believe the teenager left the home earlier that evening, and they don’t know who he came back with, if anyone.
Authorities are asking anyone with any information to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
