Jose Aaron Henriquez wanted on two warrants including murder of friend in north Harris County, HCSO says


HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says it has identified a man who is allegedly connected to his friend’s shooting death early November.

Homicide and the Major Offenders Unit is searching for 44-year-old Jose Aaron Henriquez. The suspect is said to have two warrants out for his arrest, which include murder and DWI with a child under 15 years old.

According to HCSO, Henriquez is said to be linked to a homicide last month at a mobile home on West Canino Drive.

Officials said around 2 a.m., deputies found a man shot and two other witnesses who were unharmed. Henriquez reportedly lived at the home on and off. Before shots were fired, HCSO said there was an argument between Henriquez and the victim.

Henriquez fled the scene a short time later.

According to a release from HCSO, the suspect is described as a 5-foot-8 white man weighing 200 pounds.

HCSO says he also has two prior convictions for unlawful carry of a weapon.

Officials said he is considered armed and dangerous and is known to be in the Aldine or Airlines areas in north Houston.

Anyone who comes into contact with him is urged by law enforcement to exercise extreme caution. Any information regarding Henriquez’s whereabouts is requested to be reported to HCSO’s Homicide unit at 713-274-9100.
