HUMBLE, Texas (KTRK) — According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, two people were shot while driving along Cypresswood Drive near FM 1960 Monday night.
HCSO says that around 11:15 p.m., deputies were called to a gas station after reports that a woman had been shot in the chest.
The sheriff’s office says she was the passenger in a silver SUV.
The man who was driving was also shot, according to deputies, and was hit in the wrist.
Video captured by ABC13 shows a bullet hole through the passenger side window.
So far, the sheriff’s office says it is not clear what led up to the shooting.
“This could just be a random road rage issue. It could be something related to a domestic issue. Those aspects are unclear at this time,” HCSO Sgt. Ryan explained.
Sgt. Ryan went on to say they will be going through surveillance video to hopefully figure out what happened.
HCSO says the man and woman were both taken to the hospital and are expected to live.
