HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A man is expected to be OK after he was shot inside a club Sunday morning, police said.
Officers with the Houston Police Department said they responded to a shooting at 1505 St. Emanuel at about 2 a.m. At the scene, police found that a 40-year-old had been shot. HPD applied a tourniquet to the victim, and he was taken to the hospital.
It’s unknown what led to the shooting or who the suspect is. HPD added that people did not stay to provide statements about what they saw.
The victim’s name was not released, and an investigation continues.
