HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A man was killed and his sister was injured in a shooting while leaving a nightclub in southwest Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.
Police said they received a call about a shooting in the 11100 block of South Post Oak Road early Friday morning.
HPD Lt. A. Ali told ABC13 that officers found a man and a woman with gunshot wounds when they arrived at the parking lot.
Both victims were taken to the hospital. Ali said the woman, who was shot in the stomach, was stabilized. She said the man was shot in the upper body and did not survive.
Detectives said surveillance video from a nearby business shows two men shooting the brother and sister following an altercation. They added that the suspects fled the scene in a white sedan.
Investigators said no one has been arrested and a homicide investigation is ongoing.
