HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A man, who court records say identified himself online as an “executive” for a streaming platform, is behind bars two years after he was charged with sex assault.
Trenton Roy, 26, is being held on a $250,000 bond in Harris County. He was arrested in late November.
A search warrant filed in the case says the victim told authorities that Roy was reaching out to women from the official account for The Zeus Network to audition for the reality show “Baddies South.”
In November 2022, the 24-year-old woman from out of state said she participated in a virtual audition and said Roy then invited her to come to Houston for a second audition.
When the woman arrived, she said Roy took her to a home near the Fifth Ward and pressured her to have sex with him, records say. She said she declined, and he told her to do it or “you’re fired.”
“The complainant stated (to authorities) that she gave in to the Defendant’s advances because she felt as though he was going to force her to engage in sex either way,” the search warrant reads.
A short time later, the woman says she told Roy to stop, and she began to cry. She said he did not stop. The woman said she was sexually assaulted by Roy again the next day, according to the search warrant.
A sex assault charge was filed in Harris County against Roy in October 2023. He was arrested at the end of November 2025.
ABC13 has reached out to HPD to find out how he was eventually taken into custody.
Throughout the course of their investigation, records show that HPD learned Roy had been identified in a sex assault and strangulation case in Phoenix.
“Defendant portrayed himself as the co-founder/owner of the reality show ‘Baddies’ online and claimed he worked for the entertainment streaming app Zeus Network,” the search warrant says.
HPD says they learned the woman told police in Arizona that he took her to a home there and sexually assaulted her.
Roy was charged in Maricopa County with two counts of sex assault, strangulation and kidnapping in April 2024. The prosecution dismissed those charges earlier this year to send the case back to a grand jury.
A spokesman for the Maricopa County District Attorney’s Office tells ABC13 that the case is still being investigated.
ABC13 has reached out to The Zeus Network to learn what Roy’s role was at the company, whether he is still employed there, and whether they were aware of the allegations. Eyewitness News is awaiting a response.
