SUGAR LAND, Texas (KTRK) — A mother has been charged after a 2-year-old was found with a gun at a Sugar Land daycare on Tuesday, according to police.
The Sugar Land Police Department said the incident occurred at the Primrose School of Greatwood.
Officials said the child was found with the unloaded gun by daycare workers who quickly recovered it and called law enforcement to investigate.

No injuries were reported, according to Sugar Land police.
Police said the child’s mother was charged with a misdemeanor count of making a firearm accessible to a child.
