HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — Authorities are reporting two people are dead following a fiery plane crash in northwest Harris County.
Sunday afternoon, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez shared on X that his office was receiving reports of an aircraft crash at the David Wayne Hooks Airport in the 20800 block of Stuebner Airline.
According to Gonzalez, the aircraft was reportedly engulfed in flames, and some brush fires had started in a nearby area.
EMS and the fire department are headed to the scene, Gonzalez said.
