HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — An investigation is underway in northeast Harris County after a reported shooting outside a retail store on Thursday afternoon, according to officials.
The scene is unfolding at a Walmart on N. Sam Houston and Wilson Road.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office confirms at least one person was shot in the arm.
In an update, Gonzalez said that it may have stemmed from a group of women arguing.
According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, there was an argument between two individuals that ensued before shots rang out.
HCSO said there has been one person detained, and there is no further threat to the public.
