Oscar-nominated ‘Dances With Wolves’ actor Graham Greene dies at 73

Actor Graham Green, best known for his work in the 1990 film “Dances With Wolves,” has died at the age of 73.

Greene played “Kicking Bird” in the Best Picture-winning movie, earning an Oscar nomination for his performance opposite Kevin Costner.

Graham died on Monday in Toronto after a long illness, his agent told Deadline he was “a great man of morals, ethics and character.”

Throughout his career, the Canadian-Indian actor opened doors for other indigenous performers.

Among Green’s other credits are “The Green Mile,” “Die Hard With a Vengeance,” “Maverick” and “The Twilight Saga: New Moon.”
