HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A church on Houston’s north side says things are looking up after thieves targeted their AC units, musical equipment, and other items during a series of break-ins.
ABC13 first covered the break-ins at New Life Baptist Church of Northside earlier this month.
Church leaders reached out to Eyewitness News on Thursday, saying a company gifted and installed a new AC unit at the church.
The place of worship said it had been targeted by thieves at least three times.
Not only did the leaders say their AC units were taken, but they also said thieves targeted music instruments and copper wiring.
While the church is still working to improve its alarm system and doors, a leader told ABC13 they are very grateful for the help.
