HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has released a sketch of a man accused of sexually assaulting a child in north Houston.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the incident happened on May 28 when the suspect, who was carrying a firearm, approached the child in the 16700 block of Ella Boulevard.
Deputies described the suspect as a skinny Black man between 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches tall, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a red tank-top style shirt resembling a basketball jersey, officials said.
A witness told authorities that they saw the incident, courageously stepped in, and scared the suspect away. The suspect reportedly fled northbound on Houston’s Rolling Creek Drive, according to the authorities.
Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the suspect’s location and arrest.
