HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A suspect is in custody after shots were fired during a chase in north Harris County on Monday, Pct. 4 deputies said.
According to Constable Mark Herman, deputies were chasing a suspect in the 2600 block of Spring Stuebner Road. Texas DPS troopers also assisted and attempted a PIT maneuver, but the suspect continued driving.
Pct. 4 said a deputy fired shots when the suspect began driving toward them.
The suspect was taken into custody with K-9 assistance and transported to the hospital for a dog bite, authorities said.
No deputies were injured.
