HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A homeowner won’t face charges after police say he shot a man trying to break into his vehicle overnight in northeast Houston.
According to the Houston Police Department, the shooting happened outside a home on Woodlyn near Denton.
Police say the homeowner was inside when he spotted two people trying to break into his car. The homeowner then went outside and shot at them, hitting one of the suspects.
Officers say that the suspect was taken to the hospital.
The district attorney’s office says that the two suspects will be charged with burglarizing the homeowner’s vehicle.
