LOS ANGELES — A new trailer for Taylor Swift’s “The End of an Era” 6-episode docuseries chronicling the pop star’s wildly successful “The Eras Tour” has been revealed.
“I came up with the ‘Eras Tour’ about two years before the tour started,” Swift explains. “I wanted to overserve the fans in terms of the amount of songs they were going to hear and how far I was going to push myself.”
The trailer offers a glimpse into her life as she orchestrates show-after-show, while maintaining a few secrets…
“I love having a good secret,” we hear Swift joke, after pulling off a surprise visit from Sabrina Carpenter.
The series also shines a light on Swift and (her now-fiancé) Travis Kelce’s relationship.
“We basically have the same job… You’ve got Coach Reid. I’ve got my mom,” Swift laughs with Kelce over the phone.
Featuring a behind-the-scenes look at everything it took to pull off 149 shows – from dancers, choreographers, production designers, crew and band – fans will be able to take a peek behind the curtain of the highest-grossing tour of all time.
In addition, the series features Gracie Abrams, Ed Sheeran, and Florence Welch.
Two episodes of “The End of an Era” will debut each week beginning December 12 on Disney+.
ABC will also host a preview event featuring Episode 1 of “The End of an Era” and a one-hour presentation of “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show,” which will air on ABC on December 12 at 8pm EST.
Also debuting December 12 on Disney+ is, “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show.” Filmed in Vancouver, B.C., it’s the full concert film, captured during the final show of the tour, which features – for the first time – the entire set of “THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT,” which was added to the tour following that album’s release in 2024.
