HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Police arrested a woman for arson after she was accused of starting a fire at a Mexican restaurant in northwest Houston on Thanksgiving, according to records.
Court documents say Theresa Williams, 44, tried to burn down Don Jose Mexican Restaurant on Antoine Drive by using an explosive material.
Records say Williams was arrested Thursday morning, is being held on a $15,000 bond at the Harris County jail, and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
ABC13 contacted the restaurant’s owners but has not yet heard back.
