HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — The Houston Fire Department is responding to an 18-wheeler on fire on the South Loop and Gulf Freeway on Tuesday night.
According to HFD, the 18-wheeler is believed to be carrying sulfuric acid, but the tank has not ruptured.
Officials say there are no injuries, and a shelter-in-place was not issued.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area as HFD Hazmat continues assessing the scene.
