CHANNELVIEW, Texas (KTRK) — Firefighters have put out a large fire at a home in the Channelview area on Monday morning.
The Channelview Fire Department said crews responded to the fully involved house fire on Avenue C just before 6 a.m.
SkyEye flew over the massive flames as several emergency vehicles were responding. Firefighters were able to gain control of the fire a few minutes later, as only white smoke was visible.
The fire department said it was determined there were no injuries after the fire was extinguished. Officials added that although the flames are out, crews are still monitoring the structure.
It’s unclear at this point what led to the fire.
